Every sauna TV has to survive the heat. A replacement sauna TV has to do more: it has to fit an opening that’s already built, and in some homes it has to work with an existing control system. A homeowner near Chicago needed all three, so we built a custom 19″ sauna TV to fit the existing opening, and worked with the installer to integrate it with Savant.
The Challenge
A 19″ TV that had to actually survive a sauna.
A sauna is one of the hardest places to put a TV. Constant heat and humidity break down most televisions, and a homeowner near Chicago had already lost one. The 19″ TV in their sauna had failed, and the model was discontinued. They needed a replacement that could survive the heat, fit the existing opening without modifying the sauna, and work with the home’s Savant system. Their integrator, Global Premiere Systems, called us to make sure our solution would work for their client.
The Solution
A custom sauna TV, built to fit.
We don’t offer a standard 19″ model, so this was a custom build. We started with photos of the original installation and the in-wall measurements, then sent drawings for approval. Production began once they signed off. The finished TV uses the same heat-resistant steel-and-glass construction as our standard sauna TVs, built to the dimensions of the sauna’s existing opening. It shipped with custom in-wall bracketing, two remotes, a power cord, and an IR receiver.
The Support

Their technician handled the Savant integration, and we supported him through it. We provided the IR codes the integration required and worked with him until the TV was integrated and running.
The Result
Built for the heat, fitted to the wall, running on Savant.
The TV fit the sauna’s existing opening with no modifications. The homeowner’s Savant system controls the TV. The homeowner is happy with the result.
