A Newport Beach homeowner needed a kitchen TV replacement for her stone wall, and we built one to fit the opening she already had, in a finish chosen to suit the room.
The Challenge
A failed TV set into a stone kitchen wall.
A homeowner in Newport Beach, California had a 19″ TV with a metal bezel built into her kitchen. It had failed, and the model was discontinued. The TV was set into stone, and she didn’t want to touch the wall. She found Parallel AV online and asked us for a replacement that would look good in the room.
The Solution
A finish chosen to match the kitchen.
We don’t make a standard 19″ model, so we built this one custom, working with her to make sure it fit the existing opening perfectly. We offered her a choice of finishes, and rather than recreate the original metal bezel, we recommended black to better match her kitchen appliances. She agreed.
The Support
A remote that matched the rest of the kitchen.
She wanted one remote to control both her cable box and the TV. So we sent her a different remote that does both, in a design that looks as high-end as the rest of her kitchen. We delivered it to her ourselves, so we could be sure it worked in person.
The Result
A TV that looks like it was meant to be there.
The black finish matches the kitchen’s appliances. The replacement fit the existing opening with no changes to the stone wall. She controls her cable box and TV with a single remote.
