Our Eight-Point Custom TV Process

A custom built TV being fitted into a home gym

A custom television project with Parallel AV typically moves from your first email or call to an initial design within 24 hours, and to a finished TV at your door about a month after the design is approved. Here’s how it actually works, step by step.

1: Inquiry

You reach out and tell us what you’re picturing: the room, the size, the shape, the finish, integration requirements, and anything unusual about the space you’re working with. Getting started is as simple as sending an email or picking up the phone. No intake forms, no lengthy questionnaires, nothing to fill out before you reach a real person.

2: Discussion

We talk it through until we’re confident we understand exactly what you need, not just the dimensions, but the space your TV is going into. Real constraints come up here too, for example a bathroom vanity built tight against a wall cavity that can’t move, or pre-existing mirror design we’d need to fit into. Whatever you’re working around, including replacing an existing TV in a fixed opening, we’ll design around it.

This is also where you make the choices that make the build yours, and where we help you make them: screen size (anywhere from 19 to 75 inches), a white, black, or Magic Mirror finish, and options like internal speakers, touch screens, or vanity LED lighting.

You don’t need to arrive with those decisions already made. We’ll talk through what fits your space and tell you what we’d recommend. The final decision, of course, is always yours.

3: Quote

You’ll typically get a price and a design recommendation back within 24 hours of the initial conversation. The pricing and design recommendations are simply a first draft to react to, not a final answer. If something’s off, we will adjust it before moving to actual drawings.

4: Drawings

You’ll get drawings with real measurements to review. This is your chance to confirm we’re building exactly what you need before anything gets made. If something needs adjusting, that’s a normal part of this step. We’ll revise until it matches precisely what you need, and nothing goes into production until you approve it.

5: Production

Once you approve the drawings, we move into production. Your TV gets hand-built in our own factory, using our own parts, from the ground up. Owning the whole process, from design to final inspection, is what lets us build faster than most people expect, and more precisely, since nothing gets handed off between separate teams or vendors along the way.

6: Shipping

Once your TV passes our internal inspection, we build packaging to match it. A custom TV doesn’t fit a standard box, so we treat the packaging as its own part of the build, engineered around the exact size and shape of your TV to protect it in transit. Then it ships to you, anywhere in the world.

7: Tracking

We share tracking information and a real delivery estimate along the way, so you know exactly when your new TV is scheduled to arrive.

8: Support

Delivery isn’t the finish line. Our team stays reachable by phone, text, or email through the install, ready to help whenever you need us. If you’re integrating with a control system, we can help with that too.

One Team, Start to Finish

The same team that quotes your build also draws it, builds it, ships it, and answers the phone afterward. You’re not passed between departments or starting over with someone new at each step. If you’re ready to start, or just want to talk through what’s possible for your space, reach out

We’re always happy to answer any questions you may have, or to get going on your new custom television project.
