Every mirror TV brand says roughly the same thing: invisible when off, stunning when on. That makes it hard to tell one from another.
This guide walks you through the decisions that matter most so you can check each one against your own space before you make a decision.
One Engineered Unit, or a TV Behind Glass
Not every mirror TV is built the same way. Some are single engineered products, with every part selected to work together toward the best possible picture and mirror experience. Others start with a standard consumer TV you supply yourself, then have a mirror frame and glass built around it afterward.
That distinction does matter. A panel, mirror glass, and finish designed together behave differently than the same parts assembled after the fact, even when they look similar side by side. It’s worth asking, for any mirror TV you’re considering, whether it was built as one product or put together from pieces that weren’t initially designed to work as one.
Brightness for Your Room
A mirror TV has to work harder than a regular TV. The mirror reflects ambient light, and that reflected light competes with the light the display is pushing through. The panel has to overcompensate with brightness. The brighter the room, the brighter the panel needs to be. Our panels are ultra-bright, up to 900 cd/m² on premium models, built with that tradeoff in mind.

Installation: In-Wall, Wall-Mounted, or Framed
You can install a mirror TV flush in the wall or mounted on the wall the way you’d mount a traditional television. A flush, in-wall install looks exactly like a standard wall mirror when the screen is off, and it doesn’t protrude into the room the way a wall-mounted unit does. Wall-mounted is simpler to install and a solid option if you don’t mind the TV sitting slightly off the wall, the way any mounted television would.

Sizing It to the Room
Viewing distance should drive screen size more than the size of the wall it’s going on. For a bathroom vanity or a similarly close install, a 24″ to 32″ screen is comfortable from about 4 to 6.5 feet away, which covers most vanity and shower-adjacent placements. Bedrooms, living rooms, and other rooms where you’re sitting further back can support larger formats, up to 75″ on our largest models, since there’s more distance between you and the screen to work with.
Who You Call After It’s Installed
Every brand claims good support before you buy. What matters is what happens if something comes up after the TV’s on your wall: a setup question, a defect, a part that needs replacing. Ask whether that means a phone number that reaches a person, or a support ticket that disappears into a queue.
