When it comes to moisture-resistant AVEL televisions, we recommend that they only be installed in a restroom with additional forced ventilation of the TV case, which will be built into the wall. You can't just balance the gadget on the VESA mounts in the steam room, since at temperatures above 50°C the television's computerization will work and it will switch off assuming it overheats.

Test of the AVEL built-in Waterproof TVs at High Temperatures

The testing of AVEL's waterproof televisions was conducted in stages in a specialized laboratory to determine their maximum operating temperature and the temperature at which issues arise.

The obtained certificate confirms that the television can operate at 60°C for an extended period, making it suitable for saunas with temperatures ranging from 60 to 80°C.

In this video, we will explain how our range of built-in televisions has successfully passed moisture protection tests. AVEL televisions have been certified according to international standards.

Testing is conducted in a specialized laboratory where water is sprayed using specialized equipment. During the tests, a water flow of 10 liters per minute is applied at pressures ranging from 50 to 150 kPa from various angles. Meanwhile, the television continues to operate.

Upon completion of all procedures, we receive an international certification document confirming that our televisions meet the N60 529 standard. This indicates that the equipment has successfully passed safety class testing under external conditions, specifically according to the IPX4 standard.
